Conclusion
In response to the criticism that TGA are primarily a showcase of trailers, we wholeheartedly agree, but it was well-organized. Regarding what we didn’t enjoy, feel free to skip the Muppet part – perhaps we missed something or we didn’t understand it. We stayed the entire night to watch the show live as we are based in Bulgaria, and for us, it felt like a substantial YouTube ad that we didn’t want to click the skip button on. The Game Awards give deserving games a boost, introducing us to many amazing titles.
As super fans of the horror genre, Overdose by Hideo Kojima is our most anticipated experience among the presented games. The Fortnite in-game segment was an adorable, short burst of fun, and we definitely encourage a repeat. Also, we’d love to see Christopher Judge invited again (game industry, kree!). The musical performances were outstanding. Geoff and Sydnee have always been great. It was a true celebration of the game industry! Thank you!
